Hunger

In 1846, thousands of people in America packed up their lives and made the dangerous trek to the west, to start anew in Oregon and California. The final party on the trail, the Donner Party, didn’t make it across. Their story has become a cultural touchstone, but the real humanity and heartbreak of their story has mostly been lost.

This new musical features 20 original songs, a simple set and prop design, and simple music requirements (it could be done by just a piano if need be!). This musical is about story, character, and showcasing your fantastic cast, which means it can be done on a limited budget.
